About Eden Village Tulsa
Eden Village of Tulsa is a 17 acre gated community, with 63 tiny homes, a community center, greenhouse and farm designed to provide permanent homes for chronically homeless individuals. Our Vision is to have Tulsa be a city where no one sleeps outside.
We always have volunteer opportunities for working outside in the landscape or on the farm. Inside, our office staff needs help with clerical duties, greeting visitors, and working with residents. And there are many opportunities to just become a friend for our neighbors in need.
Join A Home Team
The Backbone of Eden Village
Relationship and community are a key part of the solution to homelessness. We believe that we should know the name and story of the person we're trying to help. Each resident of Eden Village of Tulsa has a supportive Home Team consistent of 4-6 people from the surrounding Tulsa, OK area that will promise to meet monthly and ‘do life' with that resident. There is a short educational program required to clearly explain the process, which includes no material gifts, rather just a supportive relationship. Basically, we're asking for a dedicated, consistent group to become the family our new neighbors have not had.
Home teams are a long-term volunteer opportunity that allow you to make a personal connection with an Eden Village resident.
Each resident is assigned a home team upon move in that will meet once a month during their first year living at Eden Village.
Transitioning from life on the streets to life in a home is not easy. The home team offers support and encouragement during this time.

Some wandered in the wilderness, lost, and homeless. Hungry and thirsty, they nearly died. "Lord, help!" they cried in their trouble, and he rescued them from their distress. He led them to a city where they could live. PSALM 107:4-7
