About Cave Creek Rodeo Days

Volunteer-powered rodeo celebrating 50 years of Western heritage in Cave Creek, Arizona.

For 50 years the sport of Rodeo has been alive and kicking in the Sonoran Desert. The Cave Creek Rodeo consists of a Parade, Mutton Bustin', Rodeo Dances, a Cornhole Tournament, All Bulls, All Night and three action packed days of PRCA Rodeo performances and more to round out a weeklong celebration of an Arizona town's Western Heritage.

The 50th Annual Cave Creek Rodeo Days takes place March 24-27, 2027, at Cave Creek Memorial Arena in Cave Creek, Arizona. Each spring, families, cowboys, cowgirls and fans from across the country gather in the foothills north of Phoenix and Scottsdale to experience professional rodeo up close, with plenty of small-town spirit. Tickets go on sale December 1, 2026, through RodeoTickets.com.

Cave Creek Rodeo Days is more than a rodeo. It is a community tradition that gives back. Proceeds support charitable organizations throughout the Sonoran Desert and help the Town of Cave Creek maintain and enhance Cave Creek Memorial Arena, keeping it a gathering place for generations to come. Our Rodeo Royalty program also gives young people the chance to represent Cave Creek as Princess and Wrangler and serve as ambassadors for the sport.

We rely heavily on the hard work of our volunteers, the generous support of our sponsors, the talents of our participants and the patronage of our rodeo fans from throughout the country.

Volunteers make rodeo week possible. Roles span the full week of events, from the parade route and the dance floor to the arena gates and the bucking chutes. Volunteers help with event setup, guest services, hospitality, sponsor support and more. Experienced riders can also sign up as Grand Entry Riders and Flag Runners to carry the colors during PRCA performances. Many roles require no rodeo experience, just a positive attitude and a love for Cave Creek.

Volunteering is one of the best ways to be part of the action. You will meet neighbors, work alongside longtime rodeo families and see the event from behind the scenes. Whether you give one shift or the whole week, your time helps keep Arizona's Western heritage alive and supports the community causes that matter most to our town.

Join us for our milestone 50th year and become part of a tradition that has defined Cave Creek for half a century. Sign up today to reserve your spot on the 2027 volunteer team.
