About Cherry Street Community Garden

Volunteer Opportunities

Harvest and Compost Hour
Pick the last of the fall greens, weigh the harvest for the pantry donation log, and turn the compost bins. Gloves provided; wear clothes that can get muddy.
Fall Planting Workday
Our biggest workday of the season. We'll plant garlic, lettuce and winter greens in the raised beds, spread mulch, and fix the drip lines before the weather turns.
Garden Bed Cleanup
Pull spent summer plants, clear weeds from the paths, and top up the beds with fresh compost so they're ready for spring.
