Volunteer Opportunities in Stockton, CA

The volunteers help with serving meals, prepping meals (cutting and chopping vegetables, cracking eggs into a big container, putting pastries onto a serving tray), washing dishes, sweeping/mopping, throwing away trash, breaking down boxes, unloading donation to the kitchen, deep cleaning, and anything that needs to be done to keep our kitchen clean, sanitized, and prepped for the 3 hot meals we serve every single day. Dining room volunteers help with serving mobility impaired and disabled clients, wiping down the table after the client has finished eating, taking the empty trays to the wash window, wiping off the chairs and highchairs to be ready for the next meal. They will also help with sweeping and mopping the floors after meal service is completed.
